BACAR's New Construction ― 2021-2022
This was a busy year for BACAR Constructors, a few of our new construction highlights are as follows:
Construction is underway for Legacy Pointe II apartments in Knoxville, TN. This 218 unit project is the second phase to an existing apartment community being developed by Sunset View, LLC of San Diego, CA. Included in this work is a Clubhouse with a Fitness Center and a swimming pool. Bernard L. Weinstein is the project architect. Expected completion is December of 2022.
Construction of The Villages at Forest View began in April of 2021. This Antioch, Tennessee community will consist of 249 apartment units and 58 townhomes along with a Clubhouse and two swimming pools. Additional amenities include two dog parks and a large outdoor grilling area. Bernard L. Weinstein is providing the architectural services for VFV, LLC of Nashville, TN. Completion is expected in April of 2023.
Work has also started on The Flats at Laurel Pine in Nashville, TN for Shelton McNally Real Estate Partners of Atlanta, Georgia. This project consists of 158 apartment units and 8 townhomes and will include a Clubhouse with a fitness center and a swimming pool. Construction began in Mid-May of 2021 and completion is expected in November of 2022. Bernard L. Weinstein is the project designer.
In June of 2021, BACAR began work on Studio 79 apartments in East Nashville. This urban style complex consists of 79 units with a Fitness Center. Developed by Urban Growth Capital out of Chattanooga and designed by Manuel Zeitlin Architects, completion is expected in July of 2022.
In August of 2021, BACAR started construction on a 362 unit project in Antioch, TN for 2nd Wave Development of Tampa, Florida. The Maxwell will consist of thirteen apartment buildings, nine garages, a Clubhouse with two swimming pools and an extensive road system including the construction of a bridge over a stream. Humphrey & Partners Architects are providing the architectural and engineering services. Project completion is expected in August of 2023.
Cumberland Advisors, LLC of Nashville selected BACAR to build their 296 unit apartment complex in Mt. Juliet, known as The Enclave at Providence Central. Construction of the roads and utilities began in October of 2021 with final completion expected in December of 2023. CSDG of Dallas Texas is the project planner and designer.
