DAVID BAKER - President

DAVID BAKER | PRESIDENT

David Baker has overseen BACAR Constructors’ steady growth and development of the company’s diverse portfolio since its founding in 1984. Prior to founding BACAR, David served in various roles for J.D. Mullican, Inc., including Superintendent, Project Manager and Vice President.
Linn Crew - EXECUTIVE VICE President

LYNN CREW | EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Lynn Crew has served as Vice President of BACAR since 2004, and currently oversees pre-construction services. He is a member of the Associated Builders & Contractors, and has served as Treasurer for the Construction Specification Institute. Prior to joining BACAR, Lynn served in various roles including Estimator, Project Engineer and Vice President for various construction and development firms throughout the Southeast.

BILL GODWIN - EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & SECRETARY-TREASURER

BILL GODWIN | EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & SECRETARY-TREASURER

Bill Godwin began his employment with BACAR Constructors in 1986 as a Project Manager and later Senior Project Manager. He has served as the corporate Secretary-Treasurer since 2013 and Executive Vice President since 2019. He has been a Designated Design-Build Professional since 2003 and serves as a senior level instructor for DBIA teaching their designation and elective courses around the country.

TOMMY MOORE | GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT

Tommy Moore was the first superintendent hired by BACAR Constructors having started work in 1984. He has served as General Superintendent since 1992 where he is involved in the day to day field operations as well the recruitment and training of both hourly and supervisory personnel. Tommy has been instrumental in developing and improving BACAR’s safety program. A 1968 graduate of Trousdale High School, Tommy is both a US Army and Vietnam Veteran.

BRET O’BRIEN | VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

Bret O’Brien has been Vice President of Operations for BACAR Constructors since 2019.  Prior to joining BACAR, Bret served in numerous roles for Hardaway Construction including Project Manager, Vice President and Senior Vice President for twenty-five years.   He is a civil engineering graduate of the University of Tennessee.

SETH MOORE | SUPERINTENDENT

Seth Moore began his employment with BACAR Constructors upon graduation at Gallatin High School in 1997 first as carpenter and later as a traveling superintendent running BACAR’s concrete crews on projects all over the Southeast and Midwest. A graduate of the Associated Builders and Contractors Apprenticeship Program in both Carpentry and Superintendent/Project Management, Seth is now a superintendent overseeing commercial, industrial and multifamily projects.
